The Kairi Dining

料理

The main feature of Iki cuisine is marine products, complemented by other local gourmet such as Iki Beef, a type of wagyu Japanese beef (distinctive Japanese breed raised with special techniques and care by its producers), that are all available throughout the year.

Here at Kairi Murakami, guests can enjoy the natural flavors and all the goodness of Iki foods, brought out by our master chef in his simple yet dynamic culinary masterpieces. The condition of ingredients differs every day, and palates and preferences differ from one guest to another. Every day, for every meal, we pay utmost attention to preparing the perfect cuisine for each of our guests to taste Iki foods at their most delectable.

300-Year Old Hot Spring with Acclaimed Health Benefits

温泉

Our hypertonic natural hot spring with hot water straight from its source is one of Iki Island hot springs with a very long history, known and loved for its abundant health benefits and unique properties since 1700 years ago. The sodium chloride hot water changes its color to reddish brown when in contact with the air due to the high content of iron. Hypertonic hot springs such as ours are easily absorbed by the body, compared to other hot springs. This is characteristic to hot springs based on oceanic salinity that has accumulated over a long period of time.
