Fishing Cruises

Enjoy a fishing cruise on the cobalt blue sea of Iki. There’s no need to prepare in advance. Depending on the season, you can enjoy jigging, Tai-rubber fishing, five-target fishing, drift fishing, and live bait fishing. If you’re lucky, you might catch a dreamy luxury fish.

We provide a charter boat equipped with a comfortable toilet, suitable for children and beginners. An assistant will also be on board.

Ondako Coloring Experience

Experience coloring “Oni-kites,” traditional Iki Island kites designated as traditional crafts of Nagasaki Prefecture. The Oni-kite, made of bamboo and washi (Japanese paper), depicts the battle between demons and warriors. It is said to serve as a talisman for household safety and disease prevention. Currently, there is only one successor making Oni-kites on Iki Island. We will keep the finished kite, dry and package it, and hand it over at check-out, or we can arrange for it to be sent to your home.

Observe fireflies, creatures that inhabit clear air, clean waters, and quiet places. In Iki Island, firefly conservation activities are carried out by the local residents, and you can mainly view Genji fireflies around May.

Katsumoto Seri Tour

Experience the fish auction, an event typically inaccessible to the general public, at Katsumoto Fishing Port, the largest fishing town on Iki Island. After the auction tour, we will prepare a dish for your breakfast at Umi Satonaka, using the fresh fish the manager successfully bid for. We also offer a service to send your chosen fresh fish by mail to your home. (Additional costs for the fish bid on will be charged separately).
